Hi, I'm David Alvarez, a photographer, editor, and filmmaker. This is a space where I share my creative work and collaborations with other creators. I’m originally from the Atacama Desert in northern Chile, one of the driest places on Earth, and now live in Brussels, where I’m developing my career in the audiovisual field.

I started with photography and, after years of capturing still images, I transitioned into filmmaking. I also work as a documentary film editor, focusing on bringing visual stories to life.

My work emphasizes a perspective removed from direct action, focusing on subtle, quiet observations. Rather than engaging with the immediacy of events, my images explore the space between, capturing moments with a sense of distance and contemplation.
